That's true!
But for the advantages of electric cars to make people buy them, the right conditions would also have to be in place.
These would be:
cheap electricity prices for cheap charging (which isn't the case)
long range (which isn't the case)
faster charging (which isn't the case)
a certain coolness factor (which is partly the case)
appropriate charging infrastructure (which isn't the case)
ergo: I think this selling point doesn't resonate well with electric cars.
