It really depends on what you’re selling. What the buyer journey is like, how long it is. You can’t fit social media into a one size fits all. Even the difference between b2b and b2c deserve drastically different strategies.

I say "break character" as I'm supposed to be "playing a character" on my channel but I'm slow AF and I haven't made my channel for viewing/commetning/making content on (?) youtube marketing stuff.
Anyway, recently I've wanted to take a look at doing different channels that focus on different things, but use the same umbrella/universe of "characters". Razzle on this channel will sometimes reference "Channel Artist Tara Miyazee", a persona I've adapted as of late for my own artwork. So, I thought about "giving" Tara "his own" channel to "host" that would focus on art that I produce, but ultimately it would be under the overall "Puppetshow" (yes it's intentionally typoed as one word) umbrella that Razzle "belongs" to. The main goal with Tara's channel would be to get attention on my artwork in order to reach potential customers for art commissions and possibly other types of creative products that I've produced.
I had the idea for a 3rd channel where another character, Sapling, talks about plant-type creatures in fiction, because Sapling's a plant character. So y'know I thought it'd be cute to have a plant character that likes talking about other plant characters. And 3rd verse same as the first — Sapling is part of "Puppetshow", identifiable by 1) the art produced by Channel Artist Tara Miyazee that'll serve as that character's PFP and 2) references to the other Puppetshow channels and characters. Probably not as much as Razzle & Tara, but still something close. One idea I had to loop Saplong's content back around to Tara is that I might draw my own fanart of plant creatures talked about in an episode.
Recently I've found that I LOVE "The Game" of building channels and seeing how different pieces of produced content do. So if I make ANOTHER venue for me to document that process and share insights, well shoot now I've got three potential channels to play around with — one that focuses on retro gaming, one that does art, and one that talks about a very niche character archetype. IDK HOW I'd find time to work on all of these, content might be a bit sporadic but it gives me different "playgrounds" if you will to try out different forms of content and different angles.
So when you were on about "having different channels and different things" out and about to draw various people in on different angles, I was like "whoa I'm unintentionally doing that kinda!"

I am not sure that I agree with what you say in the first minute of this video. I mean I do not doubt that it is true for many businesses, but for my business I use social media to specifically target 200 to 300 people. That's it. And I already know all of those people, and they already follow me and I already have private message chains going with many of them. It is an extremely small niche service that I offer, so no need to reach thousands of new customers. Actually, there's not even any need to reach any new customers, Just getting each existing customer to repeat once very 2 or 3 years will be all the business I need. I just need social media to help me keep in touch with the couple hundred people who I already have a relationship with. So, given that, I do not see how what you say in the first few minutes of this video is true for me and my purposes.

This video seems to be focusing on marketing, but not branding. Audience perception is still very important for the brand component. Does your audience think/feel about you the way you want them to? Many organizations that optimize for views aren’t differentiated from their competition. People like some people, and dislike others, because they have personality.
Personality is what someone believes, how they behave, how they look & feel to be around. Everything you make should contribute to showing your audience these things. A luxury/tailored brand should not be publishing anything that opposes how they want to be perceived.
