KXAN reporter Ryan Chandler is becoming a member of NBC Information as a Texas-based correspondent.
Chandler is the Austin Texas Capitol Correspondent for the Austin, Texas Nexstar owned NBC affiliate.
“Observe your desires, children: this week I’m so grateful to hitch @nbcnews as a correspondent – primarily based in Texas and reporting nationwide @todayshow @nbcnightlynews @nbcnewsnow @msnbc,” Chandler wrote on social media. “I’ll be gone for a bit coaching throughout with new pals and mentors in Miami, NY, and LA, after which I’m excited to stand up to Dallas and onto wherever the world takes us. See y’all quickly!”
“I like the Texas Capitol group and I’m not going anyplace,” Chandler informed mikemcguff.com. “The Texas story is a nationwide story- economically, politically, culturally, demographically. Texas will lead and expertise the political currents of this nation greater than most, and now my job is to inform that story for everybody. I’ll be in Austin in all probability greater than a number of the lawmakers would love.”
Chandler joined KXAN in December 2022 after working at KAMC and KLBK in Lubbock.
