    -No statergic planning (highly speculative)
    -not being creative and experimental for new methods of doing things
    -focussing on small things which play no value at all such as CTR CPC Likes Comments
    -the main motive of marketing is to communicate and influence a message or ideas to a targeted customers
    -it's a tool to generate sales,customers, maintain them, growing the customers and communicating brand awareness
    -it's not about how many click per rates you get
    -so don't judge make these valueless things as your guide to decision making
    -metrics don't actually matter a lot
    -there is too little data to comprehend the situation of marketing
    -the most important things are
    -customer acquisition cost
    -customer lifetime value
    – ratio of both, lifetime value must be higher than the acquisition cost
    -return on investment whether the dollar you are paying in your marketing campaign earns you an additional dollar of value??

    A few months ago I left my first job in Marketing. I started out as a Customer Service Rep & through ambition, I constructed an affiliates program for the company. Once it was presented (after a week), I was assigned my first ever Marketing Assistant position a long side my other role. Throughout my 5 months in the part time position, I ran several successful marketing campaigns, which resulted in roughly £2,000 / £3,000 worth of revenue per campaign. This has been my greatest achievement so far in life and I am eager for more. However, I'm concerned that my ambition will be taken advantage of again, does anyone have any advice for someone in my position?

    A lot of information online is outdated.
    Some techniques don't work anymore, especially Black Hat SEO.
    However, marketing knowledge that considers human psychology is forever actual.
    Bunch of marketing books that were written over a hundred years ago still brings value because of the marketing foundation.
    I like reading books whenever they were written, but I read the breaking news and last blog posts because they provide modern knowledge. I'm talking a lot about this on my channel.
