In honor of Loneliness Consciousness Week, Columbus-based Lion Cub’s Cookies closed its two booming storefronts on a Saturday, its busiest day of the week, and reopened for in the future solely inside Ohio Residing Westminster-Thurber, an area retirement neighborhood. The activation, known as “Share a Heat Second,” turned a catalyst for dialog round an typically invisible epidemic: loneliness, particularly amongst older adults.
