The AI race amongst company teams is hotting up and Publicis Groupe is shopping for Lotame, which it calls “the world’s main unbiased id answer.” This follows WPP’s funding, alongside different shareholders, in picture era specialist Stability AI.
Lotame’s proprietary id answer is claimed to ship constant and related addressable audiences constructed on 100+ information sources and activated by greater than 1.6 billion IDs, for over 4,000 of the world’s main manufacturers and publishers.
Aligned with Publicis’ current Epsilon information enterprise it brings the group’s distinctive profiles cache to nearly 4 billion, extending world protection to greater than 90% of shoppers worldwide.

As ever, Sadoun appears to have stolen a march on his opponents. Omnicom/IPG is attempting to brings its information companies collectively as the important thing rationale for its proposed $30bn merger. WPP, which doesn’t have an owned information enterprise any extra, having shipped out of Kantar, reckons the easiest way to deal with information is to attach varied sources by its Open system.
Publicis clearly reckons possession is the important thing and it’s decided to be the most important. Will or not it’s sufficiently big to problem the “walled gardens” of Google and Meta? That appears to be the plan.
