    What I’ve found has worked this year (minus video since that would be redundant)

    1. Learn how to reformat your content for every channel so that you spend less time editing and you can extract the absolute value out of each topic you choose. Ex: a 5 ways to be happy video on YouTube becomes a mini-series on Twitter; where you drop 1 way per day (or something to that effect)

    2. Personalized and relevant email and other cold outreach still gets things done. Builds links, builds awareness, and builds connection.

    3. When you make evergreen content / digital assets, include video, audio, AND written text with a lot of internal links. Use strong UX formatting fit for scanners and those who enjoy reading full length articles. (Short and long attention spans).

    4. Digital PR — similar to this comment post here. Interact with your community, look to help, and don’t ask for anything in return

    5. Don’t fetishize a “speciality” and learn how to blend sales, marketing, and business development tactics. Everything is connected now – very similar to a mixed martial arts fighter needing to know many arts, it’s no different in driving revenue. 👍🏼

    A great way I've noticed some marketers starting to use their content is to do a long-form interview I.e. an hour long, and then cut it to a 10-15 minute shorter versions of the highlight reel from the interview.
